I'd honestly give this product a 3 but made it into a 3.5 because I got it at $8.50 because it was an open stock.Ciel as a Funko Pop is already a 5-star rating in my book. He's 4" tall and quite tiny beside a water bottle but he stands without any support, which is good for displaying. The painted details of the clothing are actuallyspot on, right to the intricate details of the ribbon and the backside of the coat. Strange enough, the mishaps are on the larger areas where you can absolutely see them - smudges of dark paint over the skin, uneven paint around the edge of the hair-meets-skin, the blotch on the black eye and the extremely noticeable smudge on the fringe above the eye. There are also huge smudges right below the nape and side of cheeks just down the eyepatch string for some odd reason.Because of these factors. I brought the rating down to 3. The listing said it was "Like New" and had only described it as an opened box and without these cosmetic defects. It would have been better if they described the paint job in the listing so the buyer would know what to expect. The paint also smells a bit strong at a few inches' distance (which may be problematic for some people, but not me).I'll see if it is possible to have it exchanged for a new one because for a Funko Pop like Ciel, it's a complete shame to have it returned for a refund.The funky pop has obviously been removed and didn’t even fit into the mold that had been put into the box. Also looks like it’s been poorly repainted. Definitely not with almost $90Pop!vinyls are the first things I've really started collecting as an 'adult', and I'm so happy to have Ciel in my collection!He has a few botched up spots in the painting--there's a smudge on his chin, the hair is painted kind of choppy where it meets his face, there is a dark black spot on the back of his head that's darker than the rest, and his ring on his thumb wasn't blue--but I'm still happy with him!It's not something you'd see unless you looked really hard, and he's staying in the box anyway.I admit. I'm not a Pop collector like other people that I know, but Ciel is still one that I wanted to complete with my collection (and I wanted his box to be signed by Brina Palencia in an August convention). I was excited when I received my package (a sturdy box which looked great), but I almost cried when I opened it. The box was completely destroyed. The only reason it was held together was because of the plastic insert that holds the figure in place. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with this box. And now I probably won't buy any more products from online because there's nothing to trust.Thanks Funko. You really know how to take care of your products.Wow! I know there are in-the-box collectors but I'm a shelf display and play with it collector. Funko Pops are highly collectable but can get a bit of a bad rap when it comes to paint detailing and other imperfections. This Ciel Phantomhive figure is nearly perfect. It's much better painted than my Joker or my Bane which I love dearly. Getting a Godzilla in a couple days too. Woo!GET THIS GUY! Get the whole set! I intend to at least.Now please Funko make Gravity Falls Pops!I've been waiting since the release of the Black Butler series to buy Ciel, which has been well over two years or so now. He was the only one I needed to complete the series, and he arrived perfectly! I don't take mine out of the box, but the plastic keeping him in place looks to be shut tightly and he's in great condition. Thank you so much!The figure was well protected and the shipping was fast.
